Meet Jim Rockefeller

A. James Rockefeller, Esq. has been a member of the Georgia Bar Association since 1995 and the Florida Bar Association since 1989.

A Chicago native, Jim received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Chicago in 1984 and a law degree from John Marshall Law School, Chicago, in 1989.

Jim has been involved in a wide variety of successful litigation experiences in various states and venues. Jim served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Miami/Dade County, Florida, Between 1989 and 1993, and again from 1994-1995. While there, he participated in numerous successful jury trials.

Before launching the Rockefeller Law Center in Warner Robins in 2005, Jim was the attorney of counsel for another local law firm. Over the years, he has served as counsel in more than one hundred jury trials, as well as countless family law temporary and final hearings.

Jim’s successful trial experience on both prosecution and defense teams has equipped him to handle any kind of case successfully – from high profile criminal cases to domestic disputes.

In 2004, Jim founded Families Against Methamphetamine Abuse, Inc. (FAMA), and currently serves as its President. FAMA is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Central Georgia families cope with drug abuse, primarily methamphetamine abuse.

Jim is a proud husband and father. His lovely Colombian wife, Ana, manages the offices of Rockefeller Law Center. Together they have two beautiful girls and two beloved pets which round out their family.

Ana;s New Picture


Office Manager

Ana is the Office Administrator and Finance Manager for the Firm. She was born in Colombia and graduated from the National University of International Business Administration and Finances. She moved to the United States of America in 2002, studied English as a Second Language at the Georgia Tech Language Institute, and graduated from there in 2005. Ana worked at Wells Fargo Dealer Services from 2007-2015. In 2015, she married, moved to Warner Robins, and started working as a legal assistant for the Rockefeller Law Center in 2016. In 2019, she took the role of the office manager for the Law Firm. She enjoys cooking yummy Colombian delicacies. In addition, she enjoys hiking, dancing, traveling, and just enjoying her family.



Family Law Paralegal

Liana Stovall serves as the family law paralegal for the Rockefeller Law Center, providing litigation support in divorce, post-divorce, legitimation, and adoption cases. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Georgia with a B.S. in political science prelaw and is currently preparing to attend law school to pursue her law degree. She plans to become an attorney and advocate for survivors of human trafficking and forced labor. Liana’s passion for human rights has led her to collaborate with state and national legislators on creating more effective policies in immigration and online safety, as well as educating a diverse range of audiences on the urgency and importance of fighting human trafficking. Liana also volunteers with Houston County CASA as a special advocate for children in the foster care system. In her free time, Liana enjoys hiking, running, and reading old British novels.

Courtney is the Civil Rights, Personal injury, General Civil and Criminal Law Paralegal at Rockefeller Law Center. She graduated from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas with her Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy with a focus on legal studies in 2019, and she then went on to receive her Paralegal certification in 2020. She is a Florida-born native but recently moved from Las Vegas to Georgia in 2021.  Courtney enjoys spending all of her free time outside with her family, gardening, hiking, and going to the beach.

Legal Assistant

Valentina is a Legal Assistant for the firm. She was born in Atlanta, GA, and moved to Warner Robins with her family in 2015. She is currently attending Middle Georgia State University. When she graduates, she plans to attend law school and become an attorney to follow in her father’s footsteps. She is also passionate about people and interested in civil rights and justice. Valentina loves traveling, arts, dancing, and playing with her little sister.

Legal Assistant

Cassey is the Legal Assistant/Paralegal in Training at Rockefeller Law Center. She was originally born in a small town in Texas, but moved to middle Georgia where she grew up and was raised. She graduated from Georgia Southern University as a Double Eagle with her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2021 and Master’s Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice in 2023. In her off time, Cassey regularly enjoys snuggling up with her 2 weenie dogs to watch a good movie, cooking, or going on a fun road trip.
