A Chicago native, Jim received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Chicago in 1984 and a law degree from John Marshall Law School, Chicago, in 1989.
Jim has been involved in a wide variety of successful litigation experiences in various states and venues. Jim served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Miami/Dade County, Florida, Between 1989 and 1993, and again from 1994-1995. While there, he participated in numerous successful jury trials.
Before launching the Rockefeller Law Center in Warner Robins in 2005, Jim was the attorney of counsel for another local law firm. Over the years, he has served as counsel in more than one hundred jury trials, as well as countless family law temporary and final hearings.
Jim’s successful trial experience on both prosecution and defense teams has equipped him to handle any kind of case successfully – from high profile criminal cases to domestic disputes.
In 2004, Jim founded Families Against Methamphetamine Abuse, Inc. (FAMA), and currently serves as its President. FAMA is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Central Georgia families cope with drug abuse, primarily methamphetamine abuse.
Jim is a proud husband and father. His lovely Colombian wife, Ana, manages the offices of Rockefeller Law Center. Together they have two beautiful girls and two beloved pets which round out their family.
